True Honeybell Tangelos are a hybrid cross between a Thompson Tangerine and a Pomelo (hence the name tange/lo). Honeybells have a tight skin and peel easier when the peel is ‘scored.’ They are very sweet, with just a little tang which gives them the unique taste which so many people love. Honeybells have a deep orange colored peel, and a deep orange meat, with a luscious sweet flavor. Honeybells are in short supply this year, please pre-order to ensure on-time delivery..
HOW MUCH SHOULD I SHIP? When selecting a gift, choose approximately 5 pounds of fruit per household/office member.
FRUIT COUNT: Depending on the size of fruit being packed, each tray will hold 9-12 pieces of fruit The 5 lb. pack will contain 5-9 Honeybells. Deluxe items are available under Honeybell Tangelo Deluxe.
